oh, magnificent one that you are
come to me under the cloak of darkness
glide your way gently into my bed
cover my body with your ethereal blanket
lay beside me holding me tenderly
stroke my hair caress my heart
languish with me till to sleep I fall and then
slide your way into my dreams
come to me under the cloak of darkness
glide your way gently into my bed
cover my body with your ethereal blanket
lay beside me holding me tenderly
stroke my hair caress my heart
languish with me till to sleep I fall and then
slide your way into my dreams
come to me tonight i do pray
for who knows when and where
we may meet again
oh, magnificent one that you are
coming to me from heaven afar
leaving your home in the distant stars
for just the sight of you I do swoon
my dear magnificent
beautiful
blue moon

Oh my, Jenean. I've been away for a few days and what a delightful way this is to come back. Blue moon, indeed. I'm keeping my eyes open, tonight. Can't wait to see the sight of the full moon with the stars. We're supposed to have a clear sky here in Texas. And I've come also to wish you the best for the coming year. May 2010 bring you much love, joy, and more and more and more creativity coming from your magnificent spirit. I look forward to continuing this journey. It's been a pure delight so far. Happy New Year to you!!!

Such beautiful words as always... Truly magical and alluring.
Have you been moon gazing again?
The New Years Eve moon was incredible with a gold halo!:)
Did you see it?

Dear Jenean:
I just adore the night sky and the moon always takes me to distant unknown and unseen lands. Lovely poem to end the year.
Hope the dawn of the new yearr was warm and splendid.
Joy always,
Susan
greetings jo - and yes, i've been moon gazing again - actually, every night that isn't so overcast that i can't see the beautiful moon - about midnight, it makes its way into and across my two large bedroom windows which i leave bare at the top half just so i can lay in bed and watch the moon - the moonlight lights my room as it floats across the night sky - wonderful!!! so i'm not a happy camper when it's overcast and no luna in sight! thanks so much for coming by - i have to get over to the magic of your place now!
hi deb - isn't it wonderful to be able to see the moon through your windows - last year i finally got a small telescope but it just doesn't focus indoors for moon watching through double storm windows - anyway, having the moon trip across my bedroom windows is a real treat to me!
marlene, i know what you mean about catch up - i need to do the same thing - i miss being at everyone's place regularly but am hoping with the holidays behind now some of the distractions will be gone as well - thanks so much for coming by - i'm really looking forward to all your new stuff coming up at your place!
happy happy to you zuzana - thanks so much for coming by - it's always such a pleasure dropping by your blog -
and susan, thank you so much for always sharing your beautiful light with all of us! especially here at my little campfire!!!
Oh, Jenean...as always, this is simply exquisite!!! An incredible photo accompanied by words that thrill the soul!!! I do so love your poetry!!! And because of this one, I am making a new connection to the phrase "Once in a Blue Moon..." Wonderful, pure delight! Love to you, my dear, dear friend!!! Janine XOXO
Such beautiful verses, full of longing and poetry. Great! and the photo is simply breathtaking.
Kisses for you,
Isabella

oh, hi janine! sorry to be just now responding - still running from holidays and extraneous stuff - in any event, thank you for your kind words - i do love having the moonlight seeping through my open bedroom windows and keeping my room all aglow - and feel that way even more so about the sun - i can truly understand ancient cultures that worshipped these magnificent creatures!
isabella - well, i could go on all day describing how movingly beautiful your work is if i had enough words, perhaps, but i do not - so i am more than humbled by your kind comments - thank you!
deboshree - it is i who am thankful for such radiance as you bring every day to my blogs - thank you for that!
