we all are gypsies of a sort wandering traveling through this life other lives space and time here there and yon on roads less traveled - this is a written and visual journal of my own travels - imaginedand/or real - come along with me -we'll danceamong the stars under the sun and over the moon - share our stories around the campfire -come along -
this site is simply a streamofconsciousness rambling of words and images in which i find meaning and beauty - there is no organized order of thought or format - poetry painting and writing on love and life and things thereof from the heart and through the eyes of a louisiana gypsy spirit travelin' roads less traveled...enjoy -
A...WOMAN
IN MOTION
WITH HAIR
AS DARK AS NIGHT
HER EYES
WERE LIKE THAT OF
A CAT
IN THE DARK...
SHE WAS A
GYPSYWOMAN...
she danced
round and round...
from the fire
her face was all aglow...
she was dancing...
dancing...
waiting for
the RISING SUN...
loving caring relationships are like THE RISING SUN...we are nourished by their warmth...we are energized by their strength...we grow in their light...we find shelter and solace there...they are our sanctuary...
born in the sign of the sun, i am a true LEO-love the sun and its hot orange red fire-passionate in and about everything i do-i believe in instant chemistry charisma love/lust at first sight-in the magic of the eyes and the beauty of the soul-in the instant recognition familiarity in meeting someone from a past life and in the knowledge that we might meet in a future life-i believe that we are each ageless and flawless-i believe in the beauty of the moment-the whisper of yesterday-the hope of tomorrow-the power of forgiveness for even ourselves-the absolute and total beauty of love---[credit to brian hyland and curtis mayfield]
I'm thinking I have to finish my guest room which is currently half done...but I really want to sit in front of the fire and read a good book..and be lazy...rainy days make me lazy :-)
what an absolutely gorgeous photo, i can't wait for spring, that's what i'm thinking, when my roses again come into bloom and i can buy a couple more ;)
oh, goodness - angels and obstacles duking it out!!! that sounds like a jungian session in and of itself!!! well, i am SO ready for summer - cannot tell you!!!! but, then, i'm ALWAYS ready for SUMMER!!
i think we must all be thinking about what next to some degree, deb - not just because of the new year - at least, i think about it a lot a lot of the time!
yep, nevine - you got it! january 2 should bring warm weather and sunshine as far as i'm concerned - course, some places it does - it's just that i'm not in any of those places and i'm freezing here!!!!!
oh a wonderful chilly rainy california day piled up in front of a blazing fireplace reading a book and sippin' on some nice heavy red wine - good book - maybe a little dark chocolate - dear heavens!!!! how divine is that!!! just the thought of it all!
ah, the fragrance of beautiful roses, lovelylinda!!! is there anything better??? and to be able to open a window and have their fragrance sift into the house!!! i will never forget the divine little texas tea roses surrounding our houses when i was a kid - and the fragrance of honeysuckle!!! and to be growing them - oh, you have the life, linda!!!
hey stacey - yes, there does seem to be just the slightest touch of spring floating around these days - even with the chill still here - but just the thought is comforting - of spring being around the corner!

I am thinking the same about you dear Jenean except that I add joy, peace and kisses.
Passion always,

Angels and Obstacles are duking it out in my mind. I am still appreciating the beauty of winter and haven't yet succmbed to the longing for spring.
I am thinking what comes after the ninth cup...it is a very zen experience tea drinking.
I am definitely thinking of all the above and wondering... what is next?
I am definitely thinking spring. After the holidays are over, winter might as well be over too! Lovely, that rose...
