sweeps cross the sky
with its golden glory
trickling its way through the windows
of my soul over the
debris of my loneliness
leaving me naked across
the bed of my thoughts of you
caressing my nakedness with
its nightlight as i lay exposed
for you to see to touch to feel
with your thoughts
in your dreams
from wherever you are tonight
from where that same moonheat
beams down upon your own naked heart
your body’s glory defined in its light
your lovelust yearning to be set free
to be with me in my own bed
of my thoughts of you
your energy now washing away
the debris of my loneliness
under the moonlight tonightwith its golden glory
trickling its way through the windows
of my soul over the
debris of my loneliness
leaving me naked across
the bed of my thoughts of you
caressing my nakedness with
its nightlight as i lay exposed
for you to see to touch to feel
with your thoughts
in your dreams
from wherever you are tonight
from where that same moonheat
beams down upon your own naked heart
your body’s glory defined in its light
your lovelust yearning to be set free
to be with me in my own bed
of my thoughts of you
your energy now washing away
the debris of my loneliness

Oh, Gypsy, this is just amazingly sensual and full of longing. I love it! I could just see the moonlight dancing in your words. Thanks for sharing this. Love & Blessings!!

hello again, charles - and thank you again for your kind words - while this blog has a lot of my own poetry, perhaps you would enjoy my blog which is entirely my own poetry - just go to the sidebar on the right and click on "the gypsy on words unspoken" and you'll be taken to that blog - again, thanks very much for your comments!
Oh, that is just simply so hauntingly descriptive of my own state of mind...
That image is so sensual, complimenting the words so well...

we both know well that land of separation, don't we, zuzana? the one where we have midnight meetings in the moonlight - i hope yours will come sooner to reality than i know my own will! ;)
lovely, J
I wish it for more than one night and one moon and I fear the tide will return the debris tomorrow.
But as respite goes, this one is lovely.
love the painting too, but I don't fully trust her eyes, lips or bosom.
