we all are gypsies of a sort wandering traveling through this life other lives space and time here there and yon on roads less traveled - this is a written and visual journal of my own travels - imaginedand/or real - come along with me -we'll danceamong the stars under the sun and over the moon - share our stories around the campfire -come along -
this site is simply a streamofconsciousness rambling of words and images in which i find meaning and beauty - there is no organized order of thought or format - poetry painting and writing on love and life and things thereof from the heart and through the eyes of a louisiana gypsy spirit travelin' roads less traveled...enjoy -
A...WOMAN
IN MOTION
WITH HAIR
AS DARK AS NIGHT
HER EYES
WERE LIKE THAT OF
A CAT
IN THE DARK...
SHE WAS A
GYPSYWOMAN...
she danced
round and round...
from the fire
her face was all aglow...
she was dancing...
dancing...
waiting for
the RISING SUN...
loving caring relationships are like THE RISING SUN...we are nourished by their warmth...we are energized by their strength...we grow in their light...we find shelter and solace there...they are our sanctuary...
born in the sign of the sun, i am a true LEO-love the sun and its hot orange red fire-passionate in and about everything i do-i believe in instant chemistry charisma love/lust at first sight-in the magic of the eyes and the beauty of the soul-in the instant recognition familiarity in meeting someone from a past life and in the knowledge that we might meet in a future life-i believe that we are each ageless and flawless-i believe in the beauty of the moment-the whisper of yesterday-the hope of tomorrow-the power of forgiveness for even ourselves-the absolute and total beauty of love---[credit to brian hyland and curtis mayfield]
What a beautiful painting that you? Sometimes I wake up dreaming about the taking of a photo and quickly wrote for subsequent implementation. Then other times I had passed and I had forgotten.
Loved this one. Been a while since I came here. Hope you have been well, dear one. I AM: this is so confusing as well as comforting. Time will tell me . . .
yes, glynis - something that we must all come to know - to remember - and if not, then to become whatever it is that we want to become - it's all up to us - only us! ;)
hello leovi - oh, no, not i in the painting although i do confess to admiring this woman so - she has that certain look, doesn't she? this is a painting by one of my favorites, sargent, whose work i love - i know what you mean about dreams and their awakening in us new ideas and visions - i often wonder which is our reality - our dreams or our awakening from them - which is which? and who is to say?
greetings dear marion! yes, doing well - very very busy with family things - and still unpacking and moving - i know i keep saying that i am still unpacking and moving stuff around - it's been weeks now, one would think i'd be done - but i'm not - not quite! however, i have begun a few plants for my patio which i love and can't wait till spring when i can really get it set up - summer days though with temps in the 80s and roses still in bloom! aren't they wonderful! hope all is well with you and yours, lady! wonderful to have you come by! peace and love -
oh, dear map! it's been such a long time since you graced my little campfire with your brilliant spirit - you have been missed - but i know what it is like to have family issues which require our all - i only hope that things have become a bit less hectic and complicated for you and your beautiful FAM - you are thought of each day and wished only good and healthy things! ;)
and i think this is something of which we all need to be reminded sometimes - it's difficult sometimes to see that we are that which we want to be - but when it's all said and done, we really are, most of the time in most ways!
wishing you peace and love -
oh, and of our MIA friend - have you any word at all of his well-being? he is constant in my own thoughts - ;)
dear nevine - to think that another is moved by my words or finds meaning in some way in them is so humbling - i know you will find your way, dear friend - i've no doubt at all! ;)
and my dear friend susan! yes, it has been a long time - way too long for you are sorely missed when absent, dear lady! and i am always honored by your presence! as for me, i, too, find such comfort in the knowing of I AM - such deep comfort - with that knowledge, there is little to fear i think - because I AM - a beautiful thought! ;)
much love and many thanks for coming by!!! have a glorious remainder of the day!
yes, me, too, ed, as i was just saying to susan above - such a sense of comfort to know that I AM - wonderful to see you again! hope all is well with you and that you will come again soon!

Oh, Jenean. This speaks so very intimately to my heart for reasons that I can't even begin to explain. Perhaps... in time... all will be revealed...
