if i wandered into your dreams
slipped right through the crystalline seams
would you
come to me
lay with me
down on the shore of the mystic sea
would you
cling to me
sing to me
fly with me ‘til we're free
would you
whisper in my ear
kiss away my fear
keep only me with you near
come to me
come to me
don’t hesitate
only love awaits at my crimson gates
let’s come together and seal our fate
when i wander into your dreams
just slide inside my waiting wings
slipped right through the crystalline seams
would you
come to me
lay with me
down on the shore of the mystic sea
would you
cling to me
sing to me
fly with me ‘til we're free
would you
whisper in my ear
kiss away my fear
keep only me with you near
come to me
come to me
don’t hesitate
only love awaits at my crimson gates
let’s come together and seal our fate
when i wander into your dreams
just slide inside my waiting wings
would you like to hear the words spoken?

What a pretty poem, and you have such a pleasant sweet voice. I don-t know much about art but my husband likes Picasso very much and Van Gogh. .Yes, we have lovely seawater here, San Vito Beach is called the "Hawaii" of Sicily in fact. But in summer the water gets too polluted because of the many tourists, I prefer going there when there are not many people.
oh, yes, picasso, van gogh, gauguin, emil nolde, dali, o'keeffe, the list goes on and on - aside from writing, i paint also - the larger the better - right now i have several 48"x60" canvasses sitting to my left elbow just waiting on my right hand to give them life - the same thing with our beaches - with the tourists comes the pollution - our favorite time at the beach is off-tourist season, for sure - however, i do like to walk/sit on the boardwalks in the summer at times - with my camera and/or a good book and/or nothing at all - just to feel and be near the ocean - for a year i had a wonderful cottage just mere feet from the waters edge, on the bay - the most magnificent time there - i felt as if i had "come home" in every sense - on the front side was the panorama of the bay and the back side of my cottage, thousands of acres of marshland, a bird sanctuary, with the setting sun turning it all orange/purple! ah, sigh.......... ;)
thank you for your visit and kind words here - oh, and if you've not already been over to my poetry from the heart blog "words unspoken", do drop by there, as well - i think you'll enjoy - at least, i hope you do -
have a glorious day there, dear lady - and thanks again for coming by!
When I was a kid, we had a saying for things that blew us away - uuuuuulaaaaaalaaaaa. That fits this one, Gypsy. Wow.
oh, my dear trish! toooooo funny!!!
i've always loved that "phrase" - thanks so much!
Nice!! Love the last line.
I wonder and wander too... as for you- am sure you are RIGHT, my lady, your guesses have a reason to BE!
hugs and a few more
hey nancy - well, you know, it's always interesting to read the different takes on something that i write - usually my words mean, to me, anyway, just what they say - however, lately, it is odd to see that they seem to take on a different life than that with which i began them once they are put here for others' eyes - so that's a great thing - anyway, thank you so much for coming by - so glad you enjoyed!
and you, lady dulce! like you, i wonder as i wander - but with this little piece, i'm just wandering - hopefully into his dreams right through those crystalline seams!!! ;)
hugs back to ya!!!
