the dragon eye
floating high
floating free
holding me
in the deep dark night sky
floating high
floating free
holding me
in the deep dark night sky
do not its power we belie
rising
rising
in its guided time
pure perfection
pure perfection
at its prime
casting life’s diamond slivers
upon the black waters quiver
spirit probe
the golden globe
the blessed ball
does surely all enthrall
casting life’s diamond slivers
upon the black waters quiver
spirit probe
the golden globe
the blessed ball
does surely all enthrall
floating free
holding me
holding thee
floating high
the dragon eye

so brilliant....you are amazing in your writings. xoxo
dear naomi - so glad you enjoyed this little piece - it's something i did some time ago but decided to revise a bit as i was posting it yesterday and it really became a new piece - thanks so much for leaving your magnificent hills to come by here! wonderful to have you -
oh, thank you so much, dear trish - as i was saying above, it is something i did some time back and then with the full moon i wanted to bring it back - and as i was posting it yesterday, it seemed to want some revising - hence, the piece here - a bit more in-depth than the original and i like it better - so glad you like, lady!
lovelylinda - yes, the dragon eye just literally popped into my head as i was posting it yesterday - and then, the words took on a bit different twist than the original piece - i like this one much better - a bit more magical, i think, like trish said - and your kind words humble me so, sweet lady!
I agree. The way you combine the words and the images is in itself a work of art.
thank you so very much, pat - i am so grateful for your always kind words! so glad to have you come by -
