we all are gypsies of a sort wandering traveling through this life other lives space and time here there and yon on roads less traveled - this is a written and visual journal of my own travels - imaginedand/or real - come along with me -we'll danceamong the stars under the sun and over the moon - share our stories around the campfire -come along -
this site is simply a streamofconsciousness rambling of words and images in which i find meaning and beauty - there is no organized order of thought or format - poetry painting and writing on love and life and things thereof from the heart and through the eyes of a louisiana gypsy spirit travelin' roads less traveled...enjoy -
A...WOMAN
IN MOTION
WITH HAIR
AS DARK AS NIGHT
HER EYES
WERE LIKE THAT OF
A CAT
IN THE DARK...
SHE WAS A
GYPSYWOMAN...
she danced
round and round...
from the fire
her face was all aglow...
she was dancing...
dancing...
waiting for
the RISING SUN...
loving caring relationships are like THE RISING SUN...we are nourished by their warmth...we are energized by their strength...we grow in their light...we find shelter and solace there...they are our sanctuary...
born in the sign of the sun, i am a true LEO-love the sun and its hot orange red fire-passionate in and about everything i do-i believe in instant chemistry charisma love/lust at first sight-in the magic of the eyes and the beauty of the soul-in the instant recognition familiarity in meeting someone from a past life and in the knowledge that we might meet in a future life-i believe that we are each ageless and flawless-i believe in the beauty of the moment-the whisper of yesterday-the hope of tomorrow-the power of forgiveness for even ourselves-the absolute and total beauty of love---[credit to brian hyland and curtis mayfield]
I just like this song. Jenean I have missed you. Did you check the award I have given you. Please do check: http://meanderingsandreflections.blogspot.com/2009/12/and-award-goes-to.html
hey stacey!!! and me you, too, lady!!! gee, montana!!! how divine! cold and all! especially if you've a jeremiah johnson along!!! wonderful to see you again! thanks so much for coming by in the midst of holidays and all - peace and love - jenean
and dear roger - your visits always hold such a special place here - thank you for taking the time in the midst of holidays and all the things you have going on to come by and leave a note -
and about answers and evanescence - while that may be true some of the time, the thing is, that sometimes, not always, but at least sometimes, the answers we seek are right in front of us or right beside us, even - we could reach out and touch, they are so close we can feel their breath on our neck - right there, literally, in front of us! those are the answers most often difficult to discover, i think - don't you?
for the new year, for you, roger, such a bright and shining spirit, i wish all that your heart desires -
homme du froid - avez-vous lu la note en Français i gauche pour vous parler de mon auto Amazon? je l'ai effacé après quelques jours parce qu'il était personnelle mais je ne suis pas sûr si vous avez obtenu de le lire ou pas?
oh, I simply adore this song....you have had me singing it over and over in my mind all day long and a long one it's been too...so glad to see you out and about again jenean...i have to go look at all your blogs now and see what you have been up to, although my reader mostly tells me, sometimes that's not as good as getting over here for tea and cookies and the spirit of you♥
Your wisdom never fails to astonish me. Every time I read your words, I think, how does she know so much? Then I think, wherever she gets her thoughts from, they are beautiful nevertheless.
dearest susan! and i have missed you very much, too! it's really wonderful to be able to form such beautiful friendships so immediately through the wonderfulwideweb! i'm so sorry not to have made it over to your place! a thousand pardons! but i will asap! thank you thank you!
wishing you peace love and joy in the new year and every year, dear susan!
hey linda - well, what could be better though than a dylan song to keep us company! and do come on over anytime and let's sit and talk and sing and sip on tea and munch on delicious little scones! yummmmmy! you know, there's always tea and cookies here! see you shortly, then!
I feel bad, gypsy woman, to intrude once again while this year is rapidly dying. But then I do wonder... this is a complex world. What is true for someone is not THE truth but A truth, is it not? And how can one find answers wherever they are, if one knows no certainties?
I, for one, have very few certainties: the love of my woman, and the love of my children. I know no God, no afterlife, no nothing.
This challenges the very definition of what is an answer. And then those answers often are best left where they are.
Don't get me wrong, dear Jenean: I am not sad, not really. But I'm not waiting for things or events to have much significance, not anymore.
In this last year though, it has been a real pleasure to discover who and what you are. And, on some occasions, to let my mind wander out of its zone of comfort so to speak. Does this make any sense?
oh, roger, but you must never ever feel badly for coming here - you could never be an intrusion - there is of course truth in what you say - that THE truth is not the same as A truth - and truth that some answers often are best left where they are -
i am more than grateful that our paths have crossed, and for the wanderings of minds -

wonderful...i've missed blogging and you.
it is cold in Montana...
much love
You're so right. Sometimes the wind is blowing too hard though. And it also happens that there is no wind.
Answers are like Truth with a capital T: evanescent, most of the time.
Happy New Year to you, and may Life be kind. :-)

Non, milady. Je ne l'ai pas vue. Cela arrive... Tu pourrais peut-être la remettre en place ? :-)
