we all are gypsies of a sort wandering traveling through this life other lives space and time here there and yon on roads less traveled - this is a written and visual journal of my own travels - imagined and/or real - come along with me - we'll dance among the stars under the sun and over the moon - share our stories around the campfire - come along -

this site is simply a streamofconsciousness rambling of words and images in which i find meaning and beauty - there is no organized order of thought or format -
poetry painting and writing on love and life and things thereof from the heart and through the eyes of a louisiana gypsy spirit travelin' roads less traveled...enjoy -

THE GYPSYWOMAN WORLD

My photo
A...WOMAN IN MOTION WITH HAIR AS DARK AS NIGHT HER EYES WERE LIKE THAT OF A CAT IN THE DARK... SHE WAS A GYPSYWOMAN... she danced round and round... from the fire her face was all aglow... she was dancing... dancing... waiting for the RISING SUN... loving caring relationships are like THE RISING SUN...we are nourished by their warmth...we are energized by their strength...we grow in their light...we find shelter and solace there...they are our sanctuary... born in the sign of the sun, i am a true LEO-love the sun and its hot orange red fire-passionate in and about everything i do-i believe in instant chemistry charisma love/lust at first sight-in the magic of the eyes and the beauty of the soul-in the instant recognition familiarity in meeting someone from a past life and in the knowledge that we might meet in a future life-i believe that we are each ageless and flawless-i believe in the beauty of the moment-the whisper of yesterday-the hope of tomorrow-the power of forgiveness for even ourselves-the absolute and total beauty of love---[credit to brian hyland and curtis mayfield]

dancin' on the edge...

never had no one to hold dear
always perched on the ledge
never really had no fear
of dancin’ on the edge
never had no one to hold dear

Yes, I see this rhythmic mood you're talking about. You're certainly there. These "songs" are just enchanting... and at just the right time of year.

Oh, and thank you for your delightful visit(s). ;-)

oh, thrilled to see you here nevine - and for such kind words - was feeling particularly blueandwhite today - and a bit edgy out on that lonesome ledge - hence, this little piece! ;)

Reading your words and looking at the images is as cathartic as the dance itself can be.
I've been on that ledge as well, more often than not ;) Thank Goodness for outlets like this xo

We should be sitting around a fire if you're going to talk like that.

:-)

Beautiful.

well, your words alone are what this is all about, glynis! so happy you found something here of comfort! ;)
please drop by any time, sit by the fire and browse through or just sit and look at the night sky - or whatever -
;)

now, miss pearl, there's certainly room round this campfire any 'ole time so please come on by - and that's what we'll do - that and perhaps open a bottle of dark red wine.....

The ledge is growing crowded of late, I fear for crying souls that they never get the chance to fly our over the audience and out into the cosmos.

i am always humbled by your kind words, dear janine - and honored by your visits! take care! :)

All of us dance near the edge of that ledge ... sometimes we're closer to the edge than we think.

Thanks for dropping by my blog. As a harried blood courier, my free time seems to become less and less. Even now, I am on call and about to race off for the blood center to work Sunday alone.

Have a great week, Roland

hi roland! wow! with your schedule, i'm really honored to have you drop by and leave a few words - mine hopefully will be a slow day - it's dark cool and rainy out today so the perfect day for doing as little as possible - will be thinking of you as you courier around however! :)

thanks again for coming by - great to see you!

i guess it's good to never have no one to hold dear, and maybe exciting to also live on the edge. or dance on it. five lines to describe a woman's life so sharply. nice!

I'm honored that you visit me, and even want me to visit and comment.

My life as a blood courier is hectic, but I try to visit my friends when I can.

Have a great end of week, Roland
