that he could tell her
his words did not deter that she did not
he was her lot already know
her love she did bestow and yet she stayed
for his love she had prayed
she
was not
afraid

I do remember this post very clearly, dear Jenean. And still more what I answered
I would say I still think the same, well, almost... The magic of the words linked with this image (think of the image's title!) forces it upon me. They will both suffer, oh very yes! But she will suffer more, she's bound too. How could it be otherwise?
There is no happiness in love, this guy Aragon said.

Oh, how I loved the two scenarios going on, here. Jenean, you certainly have a flair for the artistic... and the dramatic. So absolutely lovely!
Nevine
roger, and i remember your response to this piece the first time, too - it's true they may both suffer - but - she stays - and is unafraid - love conquers all! :)
i like the back/forth too, nevine - and every time i do one - which is very infrequently, i wonder why i don't do more :) for your kind words, i am always grateful!!!
so..so...poignant and stirring. all I can say is *sighhh* loved this xo
greetings, glynis - oh, thank you so much - words such as yours always make my own days - thank you, dear lady!
This is lovely. The image would go so well with a passage in my novel. Your words express a little of a moment in my MC's life.
I was drawn to it straight away.
oh, greetings, glynis - so wonderful to have you following along here and i hope you'll check out my other blogs as well, particularly my poetry one at words unspoken - i must say i found your blog captivating and look forward to many visits! ;) welcome!!! and thank you for the kind comments!
