we all are gypsies of a sort wandering traveling through this life other lives space and time here there and yon on roads less traveled - this is a written and visual journal of my own travels - imagined and/or real - come along with me - we'll dance among the stars under the sun and over the moon - share our stories around the campfire - come along -

this site is simply a streamofconsciousness rambling of words and images in which i find meaning and beauty - there is no organized order of thought or format -
poetry painting and writing on love and life and things thereof from the heart and through the eyes of a louisiana gypsy spirit travelin' roads less traveled...enjoy -

THE GYPSYWOMAN WORLD

My photo
A...WOMAN IN MOTION WITH HAIR AS DARK AS NIGHT HER EYES WERE LIKE THAT OF A CAT IN THE DARK... SHE WAS A GYPSYWOMAN... she danced round and round... from the fire her face was all aglow... she was dancing... dancing... waiting for the RISING SUN... loving caring relationships are like THE RISING SUN...we are nourished by their warmth...we are energized by their strength...we grow in their light...we find shelter and solace there...they are our sanctuary... born in the sign of the sun, i am a true LEO-love the sun and its hot orange red fire-passionate in and about everything i do-i believe in instant chemistry charisma love/lust at first sight-in the magic of the eyes and the beauty of the soul-in the instant recognition familiarity in meeting someone from a past life and in the knowledge that we might meet in a future life-i believe that we are each ageless and flawless-i believe in the beauty of the moment-the whisper of yesterday-the hope of tomorrow-the power of forgiveness for even ourselves-the absolute and total beauty of love---[credit to brian hyland and curtis mayfield]

let ME lead...

Lead me from death to life,
from falsehood to truth;
Lead me from despair to hope,
from fear to trust;
Lead me from hate to love,
from war to peace;
Let peace
fill our heart,
our world,
our
universe

Beautiful! If only we (the world) would allow peace to fill our hearts, we would live in a different world.

Your blog is really good for me. I've been reading, working on some things I have not always done so well at - like holding onto long held grudges and hurts. Many times I come here and your words affirm what I am working on in my personal life. So thank you!

xoxo

oh, how kind of you to share that with me - you know, interesting especially that you DO right now because i just yesterday i was holding onto something of which i am not happy - i didn't realize it until after i'd posted about the bible-teaching-florida school situation - in any event, my words flecked of intolerance and i am sorry for that - my anger came about not as an issue of intolerance i thought but rather in response to the media's coverage of the issue and obvious biased perspective toward the educational personnel who willfully violated a judicial court order - and now bemoan that they are subject to the punitive ramifications of their actions -

a second glance at my post, though, had me realize that perhaps i was feeling intolerant of the religious zealousness of these academics - and if that is in fact the case then i regret it - in this particular instance, i was ATTEMPTING to point out the sacredness of freedom of religion and/or non-organized religion and/or no religious perspective, for us ALL - not just those practicing a particular FORM of religion - one that is viewed my most as the ONLY religion -

well - with those words, i beg your tolerance for taking another deep step into my yesterday -

and give you thanks and gratitude for your words and thoughts here -

What a beautiful prayer. Is it a prayer? Could be. If I were God, I'd be happy to hear those words every day.

I'm blown away by your multiple blogs and all your creativity and inspiration! Wow!!
