we all are gypsies of a sort wandering traveling through this life other lives space and time here there and yon on roads less traveled - this is a written and visual journal of my own travels - imagined and/or real - come along with me - we'll dance among the stars under the sun and over the moon - share our stories around the campfire - come along -

this site is simply a streamofconsciousness rambling of words and images in which i find meaning and beauty - there is no organized order of thought or format -
poetry painting and writing on love and life and things thereof from the heart and through the eyes of a louisiana gypsy spirit travelin' roads less traveled...enjoy -

THE GYPSYWOMAN WORLD

My photo
A...WOMAN IN MOTION WITH HAIR AS DARK AS NIGHT HER EYES WERE LIKE THAT OF A CAT IN THE DARK... SHE WAS A GYPSYWOMAN... she danced round and round... from the fire her face was all aglow... she was dancing... dancing... waiting for the RISING SUN... loving caring relationships are like THE RISING SUN...we are nourished by their warmth...we are energized by their strength...we grow in their light...we find shelter and solace there...they are our sanctuary... born in the sign of the sun, i am a true LEO-love the sun and its hot orange red fire-passionate in and about everything i do-i believe in instant chemistry charisma love/lust at first sight-in the magic of the eyes and the beauty of the soul-in the instant recognition familiarity in meeting someone from a past life and in the knowledge that we might meet in a future life-i believe that we are each ageless and flawless-i believe in the beauty of the moment-the whisper of yesterday-the hope of tomorrow-the power of forgiveness for even ourselves-the absolute and total beauty of love---[credit to brian hyland and curtis mayfield]

Who needs words? The dance and the act of dancing is enough!

Hello Jenean,

I dunno why, I do not receive any RSS feed of any kind from you. I began to suspect that something was not kosher and came back (on my own, would you believe?) and I see that I have to put things right!

Do you know, I love this image. It's all about movement, of course. I am the most awful dancer you can imagine, nothing to be done. But I love it when others dance...

It's three in the morning, the ground is frozen outside.

You do not hear the cold in the middle of the night. It sneaks right in your heart.

Thinking of you, friend Jenean. Must go, just had an idea for a picture.

well, good morning, man from the cold - i must say your notes find me more than surprised - but pleasantly so - am very happy you found your way here from the glaciers of your heart - what a wordpicture that is [glaciers of your heart], actually, but one i have seen already in your work [the one you did when you were 15] which is truly hauntingly beautiful -
yes, i love this image, too, and have always thought of dance as the "silent poem" - i cannot believe that you cannot dance, for you have all the soul/spirit for it - and, besides, there are all kinds of ways of dancing, i think - and with your camera as your partner, there is no doubt of your ability to "dance" -
it is a cold windy wet day here - and i could not bear another minute inside so early this morning i went out into it all - had thought of heading down to the beach to sit by the waves but for other things i had to do, did not have the time - i do love being at the water on days like this - probably more than a hot summer day -
so tell me what image it is that took you running at 3am this morning?
in any event, sir, i thank you for coming by my little campfire - have a wonderful day - j
