we all are gypsies of a sort wandering traveling through this life other lives space and time here there and yon on roads less traveled - this is a written and visual journal of my own travels - imagined and/or real - come along with me - we'll dance among the stars under the sun and over the moon - share our stories around the campfire - come along -

this site is simply a streamofconsciousness rambling of words and images in which i find meaning and beauty - there is no organized order of thought or format -
poetry painting and writing on love and life and things thereof from the heart and through the eyes of a louisiana gypsy spirit travelin' roads less traveled...enjoy -

A...WOMAN IN MOTION WITH HAIR AS DARK AS NIGHT HER EYES WERE LIKE THAT OF A CAT IN THE DARK... SHE WAS A GYPSYWOMAN... she danced round and round... from the fire her face was all aglow... she was dancing... dancing... waiting for the RISING SUN... loving caring relationships are like THE RISING SUN...we are nourished by their warmth...we are energized by their strength...we grow in their light...we find shelter and solace there...they are our sanctuary... born in the sign of the sun, i am a true LEO-love the sun and its hot orange red fire-passionate in and about everything i do-i believe in instant chemistry charisma love/lust at first sight-in the magic of the eyes and the beauty of the soul-in the instant recognition familiarity in meeting someone from a past life and in the knowledge that we might meet in a future life-i believe that we are each ageless and flawless-i believe in the beauty of the moment-the whisper of yesterday-the hope of tomorrow-the power of forgiveness for even ourselves-the absolute and total beauty of love---[credit to brian hyland and curtis mayfield]

touch inside...

touch inside my ancient cave
feel yourself feel your way
do not fear the dark of day
cast aside the voices’ say
touch inside and with me stay
touch inside

This is WOW! in a big way. "touch inside" is so very deep and so very delicious. There is also a hidden vulnerability, though the voice is imperative... Still, the vulnerability, and need, come through. Beautiful, quite simply!

This was very evocative and sensual in an intelligent way. Loved it!

Fantastic! & love the image.

well, nevine, sisterinthought, you certainly heard "all" the voices! i can hear a pleading, a vulnerability, too, along with the demand!

zuzana, thank you so much for your always insightful meaningful words!

hey macgregors - oh, thank you - another nolde image which i took the liberty of "modifying/cropping" to get the image i wanted - man, how i love his work!!! can't help but think emil was an emily in another life the way he captures the female spirit! well, my spirit anyway!

The shadows that were left behind
Still dance upon the sandy shore
Where the low voices of the enchanted pair
Echo softly in the evening air
And when the dark clouds decend upon
The foam sprayed sand ('tis said)
They linger long in the damp cave(s) of the deep.

oh, wow, trevor! what a beautiful supplement to my own little words! perfectly said and perfectly beautiful they are! and they immediately inspired me with a few little new lines - maybe something about the "left behind" - hmmmm......thanks SO much - i love it!!!

well, dear linda, i am very honored at your having chosen to come visit me in the midst of all on your plate at the moment! and so grateful, as you know how much your visits mean to me! thank you, lady! and have a glorious remainder of the weekend! hugs!

Hey love,

These words of yours made me connect to myself. Made me feel that I should follow my dreams and not allow stray thoughts to pester me. Lovely words full of wisdom.

I'm good Jenean. Dancing will start soon after my final exams in April. Have to give the audition first. I will surely let you know when it finally starts.
How are you doing??
