we all are gypsies of a sort wandering traveling through this life other lives space and time here there and yon on roads less traveled - this is a written and visual journal of my own travels - imagined and/or real - come along with me - we'll dance among the stars under the sun and over the moon - share our stories around the campfire - come along -

this site is simply a streamofconsciousness rambling of words and images in which i find meaning and beauty - there is no organized order of thought or format -
poetry painting and writing on love and life and things thereof from the heart and through the eyes of a louisiana gypsy spirit travelin' roads less traveled...enjoy -

THE GYPSYWOMAN WORLD

My photo
A...WOMAN IN MOTION WITH HAIR AS DARK AS NIGHT HER EYES WERE LIKE THAT OF A CAT IN THE DARK... SHE WAS A GYPSYWOMAN... she danced round and round... from the fire her face was all aglow... she was dancing... dancing... waiting for the RISING SUN... loving caring relationships are like THE RISING SUN...we are nourished by their warmth...we are energized by their strength...we grow in their light...we find shelter and solace there...they are our sanctuary... born in the sign of the sun, i am a true LEO-love the sun and its hot orange red fire-passionate in and about everything i do-i believe in instant chemistry charisma love/lust at first sight-in the magic of the eyes and the beauty of the soul-in the instant recognition familiarity in meeting someone from a past life and in the knowledge that we might meet in a future life-i believe that we are each ageless and flawless-i believe in the beauty of the moment-the whisper of yesterday-the hope of tomorrow-the power of forgiveness for even ourselves-the absolute and total beauty of love---[credit to brian hyland and curtis mayfield]

tonight, i'm...

goin’ to bed
just at dark
shut my door
open my heart
no words spoken
nothing said
leavin’ that world behind
shutin’ out its distractions
distractions of the day
nothin' there for me
in that world of reality
goin’ into my night
the night of my heart
where only we exist
goin’ into my night
where i wanna stay
travelin’ into my thoughts
my thoughts of you
where time is uninterrupted
and hours don’t exist
findin’ that place with you
all i wanna do
goin’ into the night
into the darkness
goin’ into my darkness
the darkness of me and you
where blackest black is my only guide
the beacon of you calling me
like a moth to the flame
where love is no game
where love is the way
the only way
leading me straight to you
to us to our space our time
our love our life the only life
that is ours
life in the darkness
our love we confess
goin’ all the way in
into the darkness that is ours

lockin’ them out
lockin’ us in
into the darkness
the darkness of us
the darkness of
all things possible
the darkness of
my thoughts
of
you

Hi Jenean
Sometimes the darkness quiets the noise that blows us to peaces. Not all darkness is bad and its where dreams live.
Hope all is well

hey there mister rick! so great to see you over this way - you know, i always so look forward to your little messages! by the way, i've not yet figured out how to leave comments at your places??? i confess to being technologically challenged, however!! ;)

your words that darkness is the thing that quietens the noise is so on point for me of late - my own noises being almost overwhelming and the quiet of the darkness my only sanctuary! i know you know what i mean -

again, thanks so much for taking the time to come by and leave a few words, rick - they mean a lot - see you at your place! and have a great day!

oh, it's so wonderful to have you come by zuzana - i always enjoy your visits so much! you must please forgive my not being able to get around in blogland and visit as i would like for some time now but life seems to have interrupted my "special ME time" here and is always such a commodity - hence, my running behind so much on my own visits - but please know how i wish it were otherwise and hope it will soon change again! ;)

well, while you were correct about the most direct message here being to someone else ;), at the same time, it is truly to all of us - and it humbles me so that you were touched by my words - thanks so much for coming by, dear friend!

well, you know, trish, we all experience the same things just perhaps at different times in a little bit different way - but nevertheless, we are collectively one, i think - but i do thank you so much for your words!

and ed - am so happy to see you hear after knowing of your schedule of late! gee!!! and hope you were able to find a minute for yourself yesterday - yes, you're so right about the possibility of so much happening in the quiet of our darkness - at least, in my case most of the time - alternatively, at times it may be that the darkness is where we find our inner calm and time of stillness - either way, our darkness our friend! ;)
