we all are gypsies of a sort wandering traveling through this life other lives space and time here there and yon on roads less traveled - this is a written and visual journal of my own travels - imagined and/or real - come along with me - we'll dance among the stars under the sun and over the moon - share our stories around the campfire - come along -

this site is simply a streamofconsciousness rambling of words and images in which i find meaning and beauty - there is no organized order of thought or format -
poetry painting and writing on love and life and things thereof from the heart and through the eyes of a louisiana gypsy spirit travelin' roads less traveled...enjoy -

THE GYPSYWOMAN WORLD

My photo
A...WOMAN IN MOTION WITH HAIR AS DARK AS NIGHT HER EYES WERE LIKE THAT OF A CAT IN THE DARK... SHE WAS A GYPSYWOMAN... she danced round and round... from the fire her face was all aglow... she was dancing... dancing... waiting for the RISING SUN... loving caring relationships are like THE RISING SUN...we are nourished by their warmth...we are energized by their strength...we grow in their light...we find shelter and solace there...they are our sanctuary... born in the sign of the sun, i am a true LEO-love the sun and its hot orange red fire-passionate in and about everything i do-i believe in instant chemistry charisma love/lust at first sight-in the magic of the eyes and the beauty of the soul-in the instant recognition familiarity in meeting someone from a past life and in the knowledge that we might meet in a future life-i believe that we are each ageless and flawless-i believe in the beauty of the moment-the whisper of yesterday-the hope of tomorrow-the power of forgiveness for even ourselves-the absolute and total beauty of love---[credit to brian hyland and curtis mayfield]

If I dared... I would tell you "Shut up!" Do I dare? Why not, I'm far away so awfully safe from you!

But, beautiful gypsy woman, you didn't change any... so why are you making those words yours? The more mature you is far more dangerous, except that you're not for boys anymore. Men are far more interesting, some of us can even think, at least part time...

I'm going into hiding!

oh, mon cher roger, comment j'aime votre esprit, votre esprit! «Ce n'est pas moi qui est dangereux, monsieur! vous m'avez assis ici laughing out loud dans le sens le plus littéral du mot! il est bon que vous êtes si loin maintenant! mon coeur grâce vous, cher monsieur! je vous remercie! je vous offre maintenant une nuit aime bien, sourire que je rentre!

Gypsy, wishing my francais was a wee less rusty, the queen of the earth aka mama of all. Age only makes the memories better, no great wine was made in 1 day. maturity blossoms the soul.
Cheers, Sausage....

Oh, I'm so excited to see one of my muses at your place: the indomitable Colette, one of the greatest women to have ever lived. She took like by the balls and squeezed every single drop out of it. How I love her!! Great post, Ms. Gypsy. I hope you're doing good. Love & Blessings!!

oh, zuzana, but i'm even bolder now, and i hope, more vivacious - and i'm no where near my max!!! ;)

and you don't strike me as a woman who has become "less" anything with age, lady!!! ;)

i like this. i'm not who i was at 12, obviously. we can't be. we are still that person, and more, and less. i think it's cool to admire the wholeness we once were. at the time, i thought i had so much to become. i think you and i would agree that we already were at that age...as we are now.

oh, how wonderful to hear from you, ed - just wonderful - i remember being twelve, too, and the wholeness that i felt even then - i don't know though that i felt as if i had so much more to become - i do know my fierceness of my own ideas and thoughts and beliefs and "knowings" were already in place at that time - the trick has been to channel those things...;)
