we all are gypsies of a sort wandering traveling through this life other lives space and time here there and yon on roads less traveled - this is a written and visual journal of my own travels - imagined and/or real - come along with me - we'll dance among the stars under the sun and over the moon - share our stories around the campfire - come along -

this site is simply a streamofconsciousness rambling of words and images in which i find meaning and beauty - there is no organized order of thought or format -
poetry painting and writing on love and life and things thereof from the heart and through the eyes of a louisiana gypsy spirit travelin' roads less traveled...enjoy -

THE GYPSYWOMAN WORLD

My photo
A...WOMAN IN MOTION WITH HAIR AS DARK AS NIGHT HER EYES WERE LIKE THAT OF A CAT IN THE DARK... SHE WAS A GYPSYWOMAN... she danced round and round... from the fire her face was all aglow... she was dancing... dancing... waiting for the RISING SUN... loving caring relationships are like THE RISING SUN...we are nourished by their warmth...we are energized by their strength...we grow in their light...we find shelter and solace there...they are our sanctuary... born in the sign of the sun, i am a true LEO-love the sun and its hot orange red fire-passionate in and about everything i do-i believe in instant chemistry charisma love/lust at first sight-in the magic of the eyes and the beauty of the soul-in the instant recognition familiarity in meeting someone from a past life and in the knowledge that we might meet in a future life-i believe that we are each ageless and flawless-i believe in the beauty of the moment-the whisper of yesterday-the hope of tomorrow-the power of forgiveness for even ourselves-the absolute and total beauty of love---[credit to brian hyland and curtis mayfield]

I absolutely like the added feature of being able to listen to the post. Lovely.

Jenean, always glad to stop by here. Hope you have been well and happy. How are your grandchildren? How is the new home?

Are you painting anything now?

Joy always,
Susan

This is a new glitch in blogger. I have to use an email address I used before.

Love the poem, Gypsy!

Poignant as ever Gypsywoman your brevity evokes a stillness, an opening sensation.

Oh my, how provocative you are. I know what I would like to find between your very fine lines. Perhaps one day we could meet on Scottish soil and discuss it further? I talk of course about Na h-Eileanan Siar.

hello, dear susan! it's just so great to have you come by again after such a very long time - your visits are so missed! and how are you? what have you been doing of late? for me, i'm well - it's a beautiful sunny day and i'm spending it with all the windows open - i'm sitting by the windows listening to my wind chimes - all things considered, all is well - i'll be making another road trip in a few weeks - to see the "others" - trying to divide my time a bit - i've a few paintings in mind and i've several large canvasses standing behind my desk this moment but sadly i'm not working on one right now - so glad you've stopped by and especially glad you like the audio - do come again soon - and have a glorious remainder of the day, dear lady! ;)

peace and love - j

hey rick! today a bit lighter than yesterday, right? ;)

and speaking of right, yes, you're right about desire - always there between the lines between the words - between it all -

so great to see you - hope all is well in your own world!

steppenwolf - i so appreciate your comments - it is not often that i find brevity with words - but when i do, i like to make them count! ;) thank you so much for your own kind words here!

jimmy - ach ar ndóigh, a stór a dhuine uasail, go díreach cad a cheap mé i gceist agat - agus táim ag tnúth le bualadh leat ar leaba glas verdant i mo homeland! go dtí sin...

Jenean,
I hope this is not a question... at least not to me!!!
But what I have always read on, between and through your lines, is words of no other passion..

GYPSYWOMAN said...

well, dulce, you would be right - you and i share so much in so many ways - and no - not a question for you, lady, and vice versa! ;)

I can feel the heat from here.

GYPSYWOMAN said...

oh, nancy! ;)

thing is, i really did not conceive of it as coming off the way it seems to have - i was using the divided body symbolically - oh, good grief, well, explaining it takes all the "impressionism" away - i want people to see what THEY see - that's what matters - and i'm so glad you came by, nancy!!! thank you!

trish - are you still having blogger problems? what a mess!!!
