we all are gypsies of a sort wandering traveling through this life other lives space and time here there and yon on roads less traveled - this is a written and visual journal of my own travels - imagined and/or real - come along with me - we'll dance among the stars under the sun and over the moon - share our stories around the campfire - come along -

this site is simply a streamofconsciousness rambling of words and images in which i find meaning and beauty - there is no organized order of thought or format -
poetry painting and writing on love and life and things thereof from the heart and through the eyes of a louisiana gypsy spirit travelin' roads less traveled...enjoy -

THE GYPSYWOMAN WORLD

My photo
A...WOMAN IN MOTION WITH HAIR AS DARK AS NIGHT HER EYES WERE LIKE THAT OF A CAT IN THE DARK... SHE WAS A GYPSYWOMAN... she danced round and round... from the fire her face was all aglow... she was dancing... dancing... waiting for the RISING SUN... loving caring relationships are like THE RISING SUN...we are nourished by their warmth...we are energized by their strength...we grow in their light...we find shelter and solace there...they are our sanctuary... born in the sign of the sun, i am a true LEO-love the sun and its hot orange red fire-passionate in and about everything i do-i believe in instant chemistry charisma love/lust at first sight-in the magic of the eyes and the beauty of the soul-in the instant recognition familiarity in meeting someone from a past life and in the knowledge that we might meet in a future life-i believe that we are each ageless and flawless-i believe in the beauty of the moment-the whisper of yesterday-the hope of tomorrow-the power of forgiveness for even ourselves-the absolute and total beauty of love---[credit to brian hyland and curtis mayfield]

deep down dirty burnin' mind-dancin'...

so
do you
do you dare
to dance with me

do you dare
to dance with me
to really dance with me
you know the kind
the dance
the dirty dance
the deep and dirty dance
the one
deep down inside the me of me
where you can see
all there is of me
and
dance with me there
there
in the deep and dirty
way down inside of me
there where
when we dance
and you hold me close
all that deep and dirty
works its way up from
the deep and dirty shadows
of my past
and
grips you just like
the arms of me
because
it
is
a part of me
that deep and dirty

so
do you
do you dare
to dance with me

do you dare
to dance with me
to really dance
with me
you know the kind
the dance
the fire dance
the dance of fire
deep down inside the me of me
where you can feel
all there is to feel of me
and
dance with me there
there
in the burning fire of me
the fire deep down inside of me
there
where when we dance
and
you hold me close
that raging fire flames its way up from
deep down inside of me
from the fire that burns to eternity
and
grabs you like the legs of me
singeing you burning you
causing you to burst into flames
just like the burning pit in me
deep down inside of me
because
it
is
a part
of me
that burning fire

so
do you
do you dare
to dance with me

do you dare
to dance with me

to really dance with me
you know the kind
the dance
the mind dance
the dance of the minds
the dance of words
the one
deep down inside the me of me
where you can read
all there is of me
and
dance with me there
there
in my mind
the mind deep down inside of me
where words take a life of their own
there
where words
do the deep and dirty dance
the dance of fire of desire
there
there where
when we dance
and
you hold me close
all those words
those verb words
work their way
down from
the mind of me
and grab you like
the magic in me
because
they
are
a part
of me
those words

so
do you

do you dare

to dance with me
the me of me

the all of me
in the deep down and dirty
in the burning pit of fire
in the magic of my mind

of my soul

deep down inside of me

do you

oh, hey, alex! well, i'm not sure how erotica - i wrote it at lunch, sitting out under a big blooming mimosa tree with a soft breeze blowing - and sipping iced cold tea on a bright sunny 85 degree day today! thanks so much for dropping by! and have a great remainder of the day!

Thanks so much for stopping by the other day! Lovely to *see* you again - I often visit to read your lovely poetry but don't always have time to leave a comment! :-(

Been very busy lately completing my second novel and continuing to promote on my blog (and wherever I can!) the first - all for charity!

Have you come across any good venues for promoting your work?!

Have a lovely weekend,

XOXO Lola:)

oh, my, it really is wonderful to have you come by and leave a little note, dear lola! i think of you and do understand about time and the constraints with so much on one's plate, so to speak - great news on your second book! this past year has been filled with a cross-country move and family situations that have taken all my focus and energies so while i have put together a folder of possibilities, i've not yet approached any of them - thanks so much for your kind words here and for dropping by whenever you can! many positive thoughts for all things good for your books, lady!

So you wrote this at lunch ... but I get what you are saying - unconditional love, warts and all. It would be good to think that we could all do this.

hey mike! yes, i wrote it literally while i sat under a big mimosa tree - the word dance and all it's meanings had been playing around in my head for an hour or so and wouldn't go away - so i grabbed some cold tea and found a place to sit - and write - and voila!

acceptance and love "because" of our flaws and imperfections, not despite them - you're right, wouldn't it be nice! unconditional love - a rare thing -

thanks so much for dropping by - i loved your synchros in crete! and did i mention i'm so jealous of your trip! ;) have a great day -

Under a mimosa tree: it fits you, gypsy, just like that wild banshee poem.
