we all are gypsies of a sort wandering traveling through this life other lives space and time here there and yon on roads less traveled - this is a written and visual journal of my own travels - imagined and/or real - come along with me - we'll dance among the stars under the sun and over the moon - share our stories around the campfire - come along -

this site is simply a streamofconsciousness rambling of words and images in which i find meaning and beauty - there is no organized order of thought or format -
poetry painting and writing on love and life and things thereof from the heart and through the eyes of a louisiana gypsy spirit travelin' roads less traveled...enjoy -

THE GYPSYWOMAN WORLD

My photo
A...WOMAN IN MOTION WITH HAIR AS DARK AS NIGHT HER EYES WERE LIKE THAT OF A CAT IN THE DARK... SHE WAS A GYPSYWOMAN... she danced round and round... from the fire her face was all aglow... she was dancing... dancing... waiting for the RISING SUN... loving caring relationships are like THE RISING SUN...we are nourished by their warmth...we are energized by their strength...we grow in their light...we find shelter and solace there...they are our sanctuary... born in the sign of the sun, i am a true LEO-love the sun and its hot orange red fire-passionate in and about everything i do-i believe in instant chemistry charisma love/lust at first sight-in the magic of the eyes and the beauty of the soul-in the instant recognition familiarity in meeting someone from a past life and in the knowledge that we might meet in a future life-i believe that we are each ageless and flawless-i believe in the beauty of the moment-the whisper of yesterday-the hope of tomorrow-the power of forgiveness for even ourselves-the absolute and total beauty of love---[credit to brian hyland and curtis mayfield]

So simple... too simple?

Sometimes I cannot figure you out, Gitane... This beautiful poem clearly suggests a single love... and that is not you dearest...

I fear that you will never have enough... me either, but I lie about it! :-)

Cheers... -- Hisself

Short and sweet and lovely and touching, too.

yes, some things are very simple, man from the cold - it either is or it isn't - hot or cold - black or white - no grey areas for me - many many moons ago another friend said the same thing to me of a single love not being me - perhaps there may be many single loves, oui? who knows!

thank you, dear sir, for your visit and kind words - i was just over at your wonderful images of sunsets across the way -

dear lady dulce! so wonderful to have you come by - yes - fusing skin and hearts rarely have beginnings and endings - they simply have been, are and always will be -

I love that, that proximity to a lover, the very essence of intimacy when two become one.;))

So beautiful! Like you, no grey areas for me either. Only love that when it is gone feels like our skin being peeled from our own flesh and bone...anything less is not worth the effort. Lovely...and painful words, yet, beautiful! xOx Hope you are having a lovely week my friend!

You are what you are, Gypsy. And you embrace it. That's what makes your words so powerful.

hello there lovelylinda - and i've missed being around your place, too - in addition to everything else going on, i'm in the midst of a move right now - to another house in the same town - so in between the two places now and have been for several weeks - anyway - thanks SO much for coming over, lady!!! much love - and i'll see you soon!

that thing of two becoming one - nothing like it, is there, zuzana -

anything less is not IT - that's the thing - it simply isn't IT - love your expression of love that when it's gone feels like our skin being pulled from our own flesh and bone, lady six - may have to do something with those words!! hope all is well with you, too, lady! so wonderful to have you come by!

Moving is SUCH a chore!! :) Hopefully your life will be settled into whatever comfortable configuration suits you, Gypsywoman :)

(reading the comments...)

Is there any time that we can love another, when it's not 'singular'? there can be no love, without that focus.

However, not all singular loves are exclusive loves. LOL

glynis - lovely lady, i'm so happy to have you come by - thank you for such sweet comments!

grace - there was a time in my life when i had multiple relationships simultaneously - and i loved each of them in different ways in my own way - and count that time among the happiest most satisfying time in my life - but none of them were the "whole apple" so to speak - anyway, i digress and will leave the chapters of that story for another time! ;) thanks so much for coming by dear lady! yes, moving, such a mess - and today, another nearly 3 hours trying to get internet back on after the electrician did his work several days ago! ;)
