we all are gypsies of a sort wandering traveling through this life other lives space and time here there and yon on roads less traveled - this is a written and visual journal of my own travels - imagined and/or real - come along with me - we'll dance among the stars under the sun and over the moon - share our stories around the campfire - come along -

this site is simply a streamofconsciousness rambling of words and images in which i find meaning and beauty - there is no organized order of thought or format -
poetry painting and writing on love and life and things thereof from the heart and through the eyes of a louisiana gypsy spirit travelin' roads less traveled...enjoy -

THE GYPSYWOMAN WORLD

My photo
A...WOMAN IN MOTION WITH HAIR AS DARK AS NIGHT HER EYES WERE LIKE THAT OF A CAT IN THE DARK... SHE WAS A GYPSYWOMAN... she danced round and round... from the fire her face was all aglow... she was dancing... dancing... waiting for the RISING SUN... loving caring relationships are like THE RISING SUN...we are nourished by their warmth...we are energized by their strength...we grow in their light...we find shelter and solace there...they are our sanctuary... born in the sign of the sun, i am a true LEO-love the sun and its hot orange red fire-passionate in and about everything i do-i believe in instant chemistry charisma love/lust at first sight-in the magic of the eyes and the beauty of the soul-in the instant recognition familiarity in meeting someone from a past life and in the knowledge that we might meet in a future life-i believe that we are each ageless and flawless-i believe in the beauty of the moment-the whisper of yesterday-the hope of tomorrow-the power of forgiveness for even ourselves-the absolute and total beauty of love---[credit to brian hyland and curtis mayfield]

it ain't easy...

it ain’t easy
it ain’t never gonna be easy
this thing between me an’ you
some’ll say it’s just plain sleazy

some’ll say it’s one’a them nasty sins
but i don’t care if heaven we lose or win
hell’s already full’a them sins’a the skin

it ain’t never gonna be nothin’
this thing between me an’ you
nothin’ more’n you lovin’ me
an’ me lovin’ you
like we do

no, it ain’t easy

it ain't never gonna be easy
lovin’ me
this wild banshee

OH, this may be one of my all time favorites. I can hear it set to music.

yeah, it does have a kind of little rhythm about it, doesn't it - another of those little pieces i did in about 30 seconds - literally - glad you like! and isn't this image a zombie sort of thing!

It does not have to be easy, it just has to be worth it

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this! Nothin' about LOVE is ever easy - not easy to find and not easy to keep. So, when one does find it, better grab it. I hope your cup is running over with love.

Thanks for visiting, it is always so nice to see you have stopped by - Love your visits!

P.S. How do I find you on fb?

I can relate to the soul of this verse.

Jenean, hope you are doing well. It has been a long time.

A lovely 2012 to you.

Joy always,
Susan

my theory, too, when you find it grab it! always worth the ride, always, even if the ride is short - some ride some love being always better than no ride no love! ;)

In 30 seconds! My goodness, I couldn't write anything so meaningful in 30 years! I have to confess that I had to look up the word banshee, I didn't know its meaning. Free spirit...yes, just like our sweet gypsywoman!:) I like this a lot, it's almost like a song, easy to remember also. Excellent!

oh, francesca! an italian woman, and you had to look up banshee! too funny! ;) well, i yam what i yam and i yam that [or so i feel] - anyway, your daughter is really doing some good stuff for herself, lady!!! what a gift she has/gifts, actually - you must be very proud - and i saw you with the handsome fella/actor! very nice! ;) thanks so much for coming by - sorry i'm so out of touch these days - but i just am - so many distractions - but i always always love hearing from you -

GYPSYWOMAN said...

thanks very much jerry - very kind of you - have a wonderful remainder of the day!

hi mike - and thank you for coming by with such kind words - it's always so wonderful hearing from a kindred spirit - thank you - of sharing my own experiences, yes, you are right, hopefully - in terms of helping others - there were many years when i would not dare tell of some of my experiences - not to anyone - because of the overall perspective of those kinds of things during those years [many moons ago] - it's really gratifying to have open forums like the macgregors now - a meeting of like minds - and those not of the same mind at times - in any event - thanks again - your kind words are much appreciated -

Hey, woman, here you are! Was looking for you elsewhere...

... and pray tell me, what is it exactly that ain't easy? :-)

I just can't comment about this poem right now, not here, not after you laughed at me to my face you know where, giggling like hell...

Lemme tell you for now, Gitane : La vie the sourira cette année, fais seulement attention à ces Français...

And now I am the one giggling! Have fun...
