we all are gypsies of a sort wandering traveling through this life other lives space and time here there and yon on roads less traveled - this is a written and visual journal of my own travels - imagined and/or real - come along with me - we'll dance among the stars under the sun and over the moon - share our stories around the campfire - come along -

this site is simply a streamofconsciousness rambling of words and images in which i find meaning and beauty - there is no organized order of thought or format -
poetry painting and writing on love and life and things thereof from the heart and through the eyes of a louisiana gypsy spirit travelin' roads less traveled...enjoy -

My photo
A...WOMAN IN MOTION WITH HAIR AS DARK AS NIGHT HER EYES WERE LIKE THAT OF A CAT IN THE DARK... SHE WAS A GYPSYWOMAN... she danced round and round... from the fire her face was all aglow... she was dancing... dancing... waiting for the RISING SUN... loving caring relationships are like THE RISING SUN...we are nourished by their warmth...we are energized by their strength...we grow in their light...we find shelter and solace there...they are our sanctuary... born in the sign of the sun, i am a true LEO-love the sun and its hot orange red fire-passionate in and about everything i do-i believe in instant chemistry charisma love/lust at first sight-in the magic of the eyes and the beauty of the soul-in the instant recognition familiarity in meeting someone from a past life and in the knowledge that we might meet in a future life-i believe that we are each ageless and flawless-i believe in the beauty of the moment-the whisper of yesterday-the hope of tomorrow-the power of forgiveness for even ourselves-the absolute and total beauty of love---[credit to brian hyland and curtis mayfield]

who i am...

so who are you

i cannot bear the world to see
who i ‘m not but want to be
i’ve just been playing solitaire
to live in love i do not dare
while i profess to love forever
                    i’ve loved another really never
i know you know it’s been a while
and i cannot resist your smile

so who are you

[inspired by a dear friend who knows who i am]

Hello Gypsy!
You are quite the multi-tasker. I love all your posts! Quite real and daring the "Who I am" post. And yet very relatable. Got your message over on Mystic. Yes, so slow as of late, it is killing me to not have any time for more posts. Lots of changes here within my world all for the better so that is good, but I have fallen short of posting. Working tonight and tomorrow on new material, so stop back over when you can. Have a good evening.

hi cole! wonderful to see you over this way - you know, things come and things go and we just have to keep the flow so to speak but all so worth it with the good things - very happy to hear all the better for you - just come when you can and know that you are thought of and missed - till then, lady!

Loved to see two pictures of you one below the other!

Rare one, by Jove.

The eternal question that often marvels us!

Hugs and sunshine always,

What a lovely piece, Jenean! And it's so special to know you just that little bit better... Thanks to your friend who inspired this!

Love this piece. And that's a terrific photo of you!

How beautifully some simple words describe such complex personality as yours. Still a word repeats more than others: love. You are all love, Jenean. How fortunate you must be!

nevine - what you see here in my blogs here is already pretty much the me of me - except for days when i'm just hangin' out at home in one of my caftans with my hair hanging down :)

but i know what you are saying and i thank you!!!

so glad you like, trish - as i've said before, your words are always inspirational and i'm so grateful -

and marius, i am more than a little moved by your words, for which i am humbled - beautiful, like a bunch of wild flowers - and i thank you!
