we all are gypsies of a sort wandering traveling through this life other lives space and time here there and yon on roads less traveled - this is a written and visual journal of my own travels - imagined and/or real - come along with me - we'll dance among the stars under the sun and over the moon - share our stories around the campfire - come along -

this site is simply a streamofconsciousness rambling of words and images in which i find meaning and beauty - there is no organized order of thought or format -
poetry painting and writing on love and life and things thereof from the heart and through the eyes of a louisiana gypsy spirit travelin' roads less traveled...enjoy -

THE GYPSYWOMAN WORLD

My photo
A...WOMAN IN MOTION WITH HAIR AS DARK AS NIGHT HER EYES WERE LIKE THAT OF A CAT IN THE DARK... SHE WAS A GYPSYWOMAN... she danced round and round... from the fire her face was all aglow... she was dancing... dancing... waiting for the RISING SUN... loving caring relationships are like THE RISING SUN...we are nourished by their warmth...we are energized by their strength...we grow in their light...we find shelter and solace there...they are our sanctuary... born in the sign of the sun, i am a true LEO-love the sun and its hot orange red fire-passionate in and about everything i do-i believe in instant chemistry charisma love/lust at first sight-in the magic of the eyes and the beauty of the soul-in the instant recognition familiarity in meeting someone from a past life and in the knowledge that we might meet in a future life-i believe that we are each ageless and flawless-i believe in the beauty of the moment-the whisper of yesterday-the hope of tomorrow-the power of forgiveness for even ourselves-the absolute and total beauty of love---[credit to brian hyland and curtis mayfield]

the end is the beginning...

and the end of all our exploring will be to

You absolutely must have a pdf file of your blog, images, comments and all. Great post and image.

The footsteps look so nice. Life is such :)

I completely endorse what the MacGregors say.

Joy always,
Susan

Oh, Gyps, you find the most stunning word-pictures! Word-pictures we can sink into and drown in their beauty! You've done it again, as you always do.

P.S. There is always that umbilical of synchronicity running between us. Today, all day, I have been sitting and meditating in my Egyptian Oasis, gazing at the mural-sized picture on the wall of the Giza Pyramids at sunset, their muted shadows reflecting soft colors in the desert sands and flowing waters of the Nile at the end of day....and here you are, closeby, walking alongside.

oh hello dear cousin! so sorry not to have responded sooner - have had little ones nearly every day and late into the nights - today first free day this week i think and tomorrow little camryn again for the day plus errands up north - you know, i should not be surprised at anything that transpires now between you and me - and yet, i'm always amazed at our parallels - girl, they are simply here, there, everywhere! how wonderful is that! see you over at the macgregors!

and hello dear zuzana - how wonderful of you to come by after i've been so remiss in getting out and about to your place in so long - please do forgive - i've been out of commission for a few weeks but never a day that i did not miss everyone here in blogland! great to see you!

The words... well, what can I say? Eliot is the poet of my soul. I have learned to take his every word and dig deeper inside in order to unravel fuller meanings... and the discoveries never end.

And what a lovely image to go with! The desert has always been a place for me to go and stay and unearth who I really am. That is quite a haunting shot!

what can be better than eliot! yes, one must take his words and truly dig deeper and deeper where the discoveries never end - you said it so perfectly! just like the pyramids where we are overwhelmed with their majestic beauty and mystery and where no matter how many discoveries we make, more remain hidden deeper and deeper in the beautiful and mystical sands of the desert - and egypt!
