we all are gypsies of a sort wandering traveling through this life other lives space and time here there and yon on roads less traveled - this is a written and visual journal of my own travels - imagined and/or real - come along with me - we'll dance among the stars under the sun and over the moon - share our stories around the campfire - come along -

this site is simply a streamofconsciousness rambling of words and images in which i find meaning and beauty - there is no organized order of thought or format -
poetry painting and writing on love and life and things thereof from the heart and through the eyes of a louisiana gypsy spirit travelin' roads less traveled...enjoy -

THE GYPSYWOMAN WORLD

My photo
A...WOMAN IN MOTION WITH HAIR AS DARK AS NIGHT HER EYES WERE LIKE THAT OF A CAT IN THE DARK... SHE WAS A GYPSYWOMAN... she danced round and round... from the fire her face was all aglow... she was dancing... dancing... waiting for the RISING SUN... loving caring relationships are like THE RISING SUN...we are nourished by their warmth...we are energized by their strength...we grow in their light...we find shelter and solace there...they are our sanctuary... born in the sign of the sun, i am a true LEO-love the sun and its hot orange red fire-passionate in and about everything i do-i believe in instant chemistry charisma love/lust at first sight-in the magic of the eyes and the beauty of the soul-in the instant recognition familiarity in meeting someone from a past life and in the knowledge that we might meet in a future life-i believe that we are each ageless and flawless-i believe in the beauty of the moment-the whisper of yesterday-the hope of tomorrow-the power of forgiveness for even ourselves-the absolute and total beauty of love---[credit to brian hyland and curtis mayfield]

pieces of blue...

 ~

 pieces
little pieces
pieces of blue
blue pieces
falling
free falling
from the skies
each piece full
of seeing eyes
blue eyes
pieces of blue
stuck on me
like hot glue
seeing eyes
that see me
that see all of me
the me of me
seeing eyes
that set me free
free to fall
free fall through
the skies
of those deep blue eyes
pieces of blue
little pieces
pieces
of
falling
skies
in
your
eyes

 pieces of blue
pieces of you

Beautiful! So what/who inspired this one? I suspect your muse is whispering in your ear 24/7!

This one is beautiful...and especially meaningful for me. Hope you are getting closer to settling in. I didn't realize you were on the move. It seems a lot of people are...sure hope life settles quickly and comfortably for you. Thanks for sharing your beautiful words. Blue... the color of the throat chakra...expressing truth through power of the spoken word.
Big hugs to you...

Either you are having bright sunny days at your palce or you are dreaming of sunny days.

Hope you've been well and happy, dear Jenean.

Joy and peace,
Susan

P. S: Around this time in 2009, you were visiting my blog. I had just started blogging and you were my first foreign visitor. Glad. Much love, dear jenean.

oh, trish - that thing of my muse - muses - musing me 24/7 - well, now, would that it were true - but it is almost 24/7 - i think all those voices were just waiting for the doors to open - those doors of oppression and suppression and repression - those doors that opened wide and let the heat of the sun in - those voices speak now -

so glad you like and find meaning in this little piece of blue, lady karena! i was just sitting out in the sun one day - soaking up the heat and the blue sky and was thinking of someone in particular - and his deep blue eyes - started scribbling - and here you have it! oh, the thing of settling in/down - don't know if i'm ever really settled - not like most people - but even getting unpacked these days is a chore it seems, even for me! ;)
so interesting the thing of the blue chakra - i wouldn't have thought of it had you not mentioned it and it's especially especially meaningful for me with this piece and these blue eyes so my heart thanks you, dear lady! so wonderful to have you drop by - i'll have some cold mango green tea ready on the porch next time so come again soon -

oh, dear susan! how marvelous to have you drop by again - i've missed your visits, lady! interesting to look back once in a while, isn't it - to see where we've been and where we now are - i'm so honored to be your first foreign visitor - and that you remember that! how sweet - thank you! yes, blue skies here but always dreaming of more, dear lady! this past year i've been traveling a lot and not in one place too long - back and forth with my children across country - thanks so much for thinking of me and for coming by, susan - and please let's not lose touch - namaste' - jenean
